I was fortunate to have a successful and interesting career in retail before moving into teaching at the University of Westminster. Industry roles focused predominantly on merchandising and buying activities across product categories and at different market levels, including own brand, luxury, off-price, womenswear, accessories and homeware. I currently teach across UG and PG fashion business management courses, focusing on dissertation modules and associated supervision. I am an experienced external examiner for other universities teaching similar courses. I spent many years as an international director developing partnerships worldwide, and I still regularly participate in validation activities at the university.
